Sister Srey Cafe is a social enterprise in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Established in 2012, Sister Srey was started to be a place for “Good Coffee” whilst creating a supportive space to educate and empower Cambodians. The cafe is run by two Australian sisters, Lauren and Cassie, and their amazing team of local staff. The cafe is a cute and comfortable space with hundreds of books for customers to browse or buy.
The cafe also works to support education and entrepreneurship in the region by donating a percentage of its profits to APOPO Humanitarian Demining, a non-profit organization that uses trained rats to detect landmines and tuberculosis. The cafe also partners with other local NGOs and initiatives, such as Hearts to Harmony Foundation, Husk Cambodia, and Plastic Free Cambodia.
