Senteur D’Angkor was founded in 1999 with the mission of promoting the local know-how and creating authentic souvenirs from Cambodia. Senteur D’Angkor offers a range of products that are made from natural ingredients and materials, such as spices, herbs, fruits, flowers, silk, wood, stone, and palm leaves. These products include aromatic candles, natural soaps, body care products, home fragrances, teas, coffees, jams, spices, and more.

Senteur D’Angkor also operates a workshop and a botanical garden in Siem Reap, where you can visit and learn about the production process, the raw materials, and the local culture. You can also participate in various craft activities that allow you to unleash your creativity and make your own souvenirs with the guidance of local artisans.


Activities



Senteur D’Angkor offers an array of engaging craft activities that cater to different interests and ages. You can choose from the following options:

  • Palm leaf weaving: Learn how to weave palm leaves and create your own souvenir box, bird, or star bookmark. Palm leaves are widely used in Cambodia for various purposes, such as roofing, matting, basketry, and packaging.

  • Aromatic candle making: Learn how to make your own scented candle with paraffin wax, beeswax, and perfume or essential oil. You can choose from a variety of fragrances, such as jasmine, lotus, mango, coconut, or lemongrass.

  • Natural lip balm making: Learn how to make your own natural lip balm sticks with beeswax, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, and flavor. You can choose from different flavors, such as vanilla, mint, orange, or honey.

Each activity takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour, and you can bring home your creation and a new set of skills. You will also get a free tour of the workshop and a refreshing iced tea made by Senteur D’Angkor.

Senteur D’Angkor has a wide range of products that are suitable for gifts, souvenirs, or personal use. You can find them in their shop, online store, or at the workshop. Here are some examples of their products and prices:

  • Aromatic candles: These candles are made of paraffin wax, beeswax, and perfume or essential oil. They come in different sizes and shapes, such as jars, tins, or lotus flowers. They cost from $3.50 to $15.00 depending on the size and shape.

  • Natural soaps: These soaps are made of coconut oil, palm oil, and natural extracts. They are gentle on the skin and have various scents, such as lemongrass, jasmine, lotus, or mango. They cost $2.50 each or $10.00 for a set of five.

  • Body care products: These products include body lotion, body scrub, massage oil, and lip balm. They are made of natural ingredients, such as aloe vera, rice bran oil, shea butter, and essential oils. They cost from $4.00 to $12.00 depending on the product and size.

  • Home fragrances: These products include incense sticks, incense cones, incense holders, room sprays, and diffusers. They are made of natural materials, such as bamboo, rattan, and essential oils. They cost from $2.00 to $25.00 depending on the product and size.

  • Teas, coffees, jams, spices, and more: These products are made of local ingredients, such as lemongrass, ginger, pandan, mango, pineapple, pepper, curry, and more. They are delicious and aromatic, and can be enjoyed at home or as gifts. They cost from $2.00 to $15.00 depending on the product and size.


How to get there

Senteur D’Angkor workshop and botanical garden is located in Siem Reap, about 15 minutes drive from the city center or the airport. You can get there by tuk-tuk, taxi, or bicycle. The address is:

How to book

You can book your craft activities online through their website or by phone or email. You can also walk in and check the availability, but it is recommended to book in advance to secure your spot. The price per person is $12 for one activity, $20 for two activities, or $30 for three activities. You can also request a quotation for group bookings.
