If you are looking for a place to enjoy a delicious meal and a spectacular show of traditional Cambodian dances, look no further than Amazon Angkor Restaurant. Located in the heart of Siem Reap, this restaurant-theatre offers a unique experience that combines the best of Khmer culture and cuisine. Here is what you need to know before you book your table.
Type of Show

Amazon Angkor Restaurant features a nightly performance of Apsara and traditional dances, starting from 7:30 pm. Apsara is a classical dance form that originated in the Angkorian era, depicting the heavenly nymphs of Hindu and Buddhist mythology. The dancers wear elaborate costumes and jewelry, and move gracefully with circular motions and poised gestures. The show also includes other folk dances that showcase the diversity and richness of Cambodian culture, such as the coconut dance, the fisherman dance, and the peacock dance. The show lasts for about an hour and a half, and is accompanied by live music and narration.
Food Options

Amazon Angkor Restaurant serves a buffet-style dinner with over 40 dishes to choose from. You can enjoy a variety of traditional Khmer dishes, such as amok, lok lak, and somlor korko, as well as Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, European, and western cuisines. The restaurant also offers a selection of Cambodian BBQ and sukiyaki soups, with individual cooking stations for your convenience. For dessert, you can indulge in fresh fruits, cakes, ice cream, and more. The buffet is open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and you can eat as much as you like.
Price
The price for the dinner and show package is $12 per person, which includes a welcome drink and a souvenir photo. You can also order additional drinks from the bar, such as beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and water. The drinks are not included in the package price, and are charged separately. The restaurant accepts cash and credit cards as payment methods.
How to Book
You can book your table online through the restaurant's website, or by calling or emailing them directly. You can also book through your hotel or a travel agency, as the restaurant works with many partners in Siem Reap. You should book at least one day in advance, as the restaurant can get very busy during peak season. You can also walk in without a reservation, but you may have to wait for a table or a seat in the theatre.
